Some relevant history:
What did Dolphins sacrifice for Tyreek?
2022 1st (No. 29), 2nd, and 4th-round picks, plus 2023 4th and 6th-round picks. The Dolphins immediately signed Hill to a four-year, $120 million extension ($72.2M guaranteed), making him the NFL's highest-paid receiver.
Brown isn't the same player and won't cost as much. But he is a special play-maker.
I'm not advocating for the guy. I have very mixed feelings. Just trying to share what the Chargers could be thinking.

I think the asking price will be too much, but I’d be lying if I said I haven’t thought about Herbs throwing to an unstoppable weapon like this. In addition to the collection of other weapons we now have.ESPN Screename: GoBolts02

I'd love to add a real weapon at tight end...but that would slot in as tight end #2. A third tight end should be an elite blocker.Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View PostSign Kolar -- have a real weapon at TE. Granted, Fisk only costs the league minimum so keeping him -- no big deal either. Granted, I would just let him go to a team that can use him better if they sign Ingold
Ingold is a full-back...doesn't factor into the tight end discussion/consideration IMO.

Sign Pierce and call it good - keep your draft picks. I do like AJ Brown the player - big, physical, good with the ball. But Alec Pierce averaged 21.3 ypc with Daniel Jones, Rivers and Riley Leonard. Herbert could do the sameOriginally posted by Boltx View Post

More players being released. If Hortiz is true about the comp pick game - you lose a St, Juste perhaps, sign a released player - might get a comp pick
Salyer and Pipkins might bring back comp picks
What a world

The great way to start the weekend was in regards to Biadasz. And the AJ Brown news was just that. Interest.Originally posted by Fleet 1 View PostI am so excited for this offseason. What a great way to start the weekend.(Biadasz)
Chargers also interested in AJ Brown
Which makes the offseason feel like its starting today. And that excites me.
Just in case you guys were thinking i was floating the idea of trading for Brown. He is a total monster tho.
I think a guy that would be much cheaper and fit perfectly would be Deebo.

Let the Patriots take him so the Chargers have one less team for Alec Pierce.Originally posted by Whydachargers? View Post
Has Philadelphia stated they only want picks for Brown? Would they be open to a player and a pick?
3D chess being played by Hortiz -- drive up price an AFC team has to pay. Even if the Chargers are not serious - maybe it makes the Patriots give up a bit more than they want

Right guard is fairly shallow in free agency
Let me be clear this signing must come with a contingency plan because Vera-Tucker has not finished 3 of his 5 NFL seasons...but when he is on the field he is an above average starter, very athletic for the scheme, and will come cheaper than other guard options.
I am some what intrigued. Only 26
