So, you took Houston and gave the 3? Smart move.

I thought all three of those games looked way too good. Tampa is my bet of the week. Indy at one should win by more than 3 TD

I like Indy as well, but Pryor could cause some havoc with his legs. Indy really doesn't have a good defense.

I don't bet but I suspect the lines are very conservative the first week of the year.

Didn't we just sign a DE that they cut? :facepalm1:

IND (a.k.a. the most overrated team in the NFL) has not beat anyone by 21 or more in the regular season since week 2 of 2010.

I am stunned that our line is not more like HOU -8.5.

I was thinking of that today. Indy is now the model for all rebuilding teams to follow, apparently. Why, after one bad season when their franchise QB was IR'd coming out of the gate and then they managed to make the playoffs and go one and out in a division that included Tennessee and Jax?

They have a lot of average players on D, but no real studs defensively. We were top heavy. Nevis was also a 3rd round pick in 2011. I'll take that chance.

It is the height of stupidity. IND had a -30 PF-PA. I think there were only about half a dozen winning teams (including 9-7 teams) with a negative PF-PA over the last decade or so and no 11-5 or better team was anything close to -30. They were #10 on offense and #26 on defense playing a last place schedule in the weakest division in the NFL. By contrast, our PF-PA last year was 0 and I would have favored our 2012 team against theirs any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I think we fell for the hype hook, line and sinker. We had a solid GM and a terrible HC and we upgraded at HC, but downgraded at GM.

It's a home game for us, this is really like a -7 on a level playing field. Houston should easily cover that.
