It is the height of stupidity. IND had a -30 PF-PA. I think there were only about half a dozen winning teams (including 9-7 teams) with a negative PF-PA over the last decade or so and no 11-5 or better team was anything close to -30. They were #10 on offense and #26 on defense playing a last place schedule in the weakest division in the NFL. By contrast, our PF-PA last year was 0 and I would have favored our 2012 team against theirs any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I think we fell for the hype hook, line and sinker. We had a solid GM and a terrible HC and we upgraded at HC, but downgraded at GM.

You have got to be kidding me about the solid GM....he left behind a disastrous group of FA pickups and had a 4 year stretch of horrid drafts. His time was done.

IMO, it was extending Norv 3 years. But I was referring to waiting this last year and creating the lame duck status whereby his GM and HC were scrambling desperately in self preservation mode. Self preservation is not a team concept.
