He looked good IMO. It's hard to appreciate ranking RB over C when we have Bozeman. I'm curious to see us go deep in the playoffs with
a rushing offense. If Hampton really shines, I'm a happy Chargers fan.

And this is the proven way to build a solid roster. Draft BPA every round.

Omarion Hampton has received a PFF grade of 73.4 thus far.

Take a look at OG/OC drafted after him...
      Donovan Jackson (58.2)
      Jonah Savaiinaea (31.1)
      Tate Ratledge (69.8)
      Dylan Fairchild (57.1)
      Wyatt Milium (55.4)
      Jared Wilson (49.8)
      Jalen Rivers (30.9)
      Marcus Mbou (54.6)
      Jackson Slater (yet to play)
      Drew Kendall (62.1)

The only player you can make an argument for would be Tate Ratledge. But you'd have to throw Tre Harris back in the draft pool. After all of the whinig and crying about lack of playmakers last year... that doesn't seem wise. Not to mention, they had already signed free agent Mekhi Becton pre-draft... and Zion was penciled in at LG.

The only center on this list is Jared Wilson. But he hasn't even taken a snap at center... and thus far, isn't any better than Bozeman. Hortiz, rightfully, took a look at last draft's IOL and said, "next year's crop is a lot better... let's wait a year"... which is exactly what I predicted they would do.

Draft with your head... not your heart.

I haven't checked into "Fire Roman Part 4" in a while... I see there has been a bit of Mental Gymnastics going on lately. It looks like the "injuries argument" has come off the "those are only excuses" list since I've gone... LOL!

Are you guys still trying to figure out how Offensive Mensa Andy Reid only mustered 13 points in 5 quarters...? LOL!
I'll explain it if you need me to. I'll try to keep it short for Jamrock. I'm not great at technology... but maybe I could prepare a meme for you...

Offensive Mensa Andy Reid! I got a kick out of that.
To be fair, Andy's pretty good but his excuses are as weak as the Chargers.( weaker IMO) And we won. Yee-Haw!

I always thought "mensa" was a weird choice for the organization for gifted people...in Spanish "mensa" means "dumb girl"...

The 2024 offense had no weapons besides Ladd. RB, WR, and TE have been dramatically improved.

Becton was a first rounder and starter on a SB winner last year. Pipkins is a 3rd rounder and has played in 11 games at RT in 2025. He’s not Alt but the team averaged higher PPG in past seasons when he was RT. When Salyer replaced Slater at LT in 2022, the team averaged more PPG.

If we actually examine injuries and the OL from prior years compared to today’s, there is no explanation for the lowest avg PPG other than Romans incapacity to adapt especially when you look at the tremendous upgrade in talent added to WR, TE, and RB rooms.
i don't even think you know what you are arguing about by this point Riverwalk: Chief injuries matter, theChargers defeated a crippled team, and yet the Charger injuries don't - its Roman's fault.

In 2022, the Chargers had a top rated center, so the line could handle marginal OTs like Storm or the rookie Salyer.

With Creed Humphrey or Linsley, injuries are somewhat mitigated because they can organize the players around them.
With Boze, who is an unatural center and playing out of position, injuries have a cascading effect ....leading to the shit storms we have witnessed.

What the heck happened to "Cleanliness"?

For the sake of brevity, let's just Roman detractors have their say. I submit myself to the know-it-all types and join Boltnut. OK!
