Regards the OL, it's a credit to the players that we've had the success that we've had. They are not good as a group. They're inconsistent. Meaning that they have been useful at times within the scheme. We aren't playing offense with no OL and they looked close to NFL level vs Dallas.

I'm neither a fan nor a hater re: Roman. He's the Chargers OC and gets points from me for that. I look forward to the balance of the 2025 season and post season and will tell all what I think after our last 2025 game has been played. As far as I'm concerned the scale could tip either way for G Ro.
Neither am I; but it is odd if someone doesn't have concerns about the guy.
Houston was able to run the football today with a makeshift Oline, and the Chargers couldn't.

Hampton carried the ball 14 times for 29 yards .... wtf is the point of Roman being your OC?
Everyone knows Roman's passing schemes are 3rd rate.

Roman's forte is the running game, and it was abysmal today.
It was abysmal in the playoff game last year with Alt/Slater.
18 rushing attempts for 50 yards last January.

Houston ran effectively today with their make shift Oline.

When you are a coordinator that emphasizes toughness and the run, and you are averaging 2 yard per carry in these big games .... why are you the OC?
He is not exactly Mike Marks in the passing game.

Their drives are all Herbert putting the team on his back, or they come off of an interception .... ridiculous.
What is their bread and butter play under Roman? Its Herbert scrambling for yards.

The QB leading the team in rushing with only 37 yards, and McConkey with zero targets in the 1st half, is grounds for firing.

It was zero targets entering the 4rth quarter. They were leaning on QJ and Gadsen .... Omarion on a few targets.
Where were they trying to go with the football?

              Who knows...

Entering this week, the Chargers were 27th in the NFL in Red Zone TD%, went 1/4 today

Can't throw a target when you are either sacked or running from pressure.

I saw posters saying, Herbert needs to get rid of the ball sooner. He is holding it too long........You don't think he would throw it if somebody was open or he had time to find someone open?

You all know we are the 32nd ranked OL and playing one of the best DL in football. We all knew this game wasnt going to be easy for the OL.

Football is certainly easy from the couch

I won't defend the play calling because I thought it was bad, but some of this is on McConkey - he (along with Keenan and Harris) was not getting open.

So what is the excuse for run game genius Roman not being able to get any run game going? Is everything based on Slater and Alt?

So now McConkey, Keenan, and Tre Harris all suck at getting open? Got it.

Look I know this team struggles against good man coverage, but it is on the coah to scheme some stuff. We never see anything creative. Andy Reid would have a field day with those Wrs.

Even with this putrid offensive line we scored 16 and it should have been 20 if not for some very uncharacteristic missed by Dicker. If Gadsen doesn't turn a likely TD catch into a interception it would have been 27 points and probably a win.

Again, I said the play calling was bad but did you see anyone getting open quick? The reality is the Texans blanked our WR aside from QJ, they all had bad games.
