Would be great to do both but Herbert's on a heater right now. Justin Heatbert

we must stop Joe Mixon and Pierce. Must. Don't let him go James Connors on us

He takes a licking in the return game, but as far as I know, he hasn't been injured all that much for his size and weight. If he can put on maybe another 20 pounds on his frame and not lose too much of his speed, he can be very dangerous if he can learn the full route tree. He'd be especially dangerous on the boundary, or in the slot especially in off-script play scenarios. Another possibility if he can gain weight is to convert him into a 3rd down RB and make him into another Darren Sproles, potentially.
20 lbs is a LOT of weight for a guy of such slight build. that would surely impact a major part of his skillset which is blazing speed.

I don’t see why the crowd here is so reflexively quick to suggest we bring back a guy who was here before, vs studying the entire landscape of options. There are a lot of FA WRs to lock in on Mdub so quickly. Link to FAs below, how does anyone go down that list and say “yeah - Mike is the guy!”.

Mike is getting old, frequently hurt, declining speed that wasnt speedy at his peak, not entirely clear he ever fully recovered from last year’s injury … yeah, thats a huge why from me?

Agreed. I think people enjoy the nostalgia of it and want to remember the good plays, but Father Time is undefeated and always will be. Bring in younger, faster, stronger until that old man comes to get them, then repeat. Bring back Allen & Williams in a few years and let them tip their hats to the crowd, but for now, let them ride off into the sunset.

I think KA just might pay us to come back. I saw his sweep pass play in Chicago........He rolled.....NO BODY open and he just heaved it anyway.....he didn't care at all, you could see that.......Picked off and the guy starts to come upfield..... Keenan stops running and puts his hands in his warmer, stands and watches.......no interest at all in getting involved.........He was just over his Chicago nightmare.

Derius Davis reminds me of Tank Dell. Both drafted in '23, identical in height/weight, DD a touch faster 40. Dell came into the league a more polished WR. I don't think it's a matter of DD being under-utilized, I think it's taken time for DD to develop. He would periodically get downfield targets this season and last, and he and Herbert didn't connect. Now they are connecting, it appears DD is figuring it out. He came into the league last season as primarily a KR; he was a developmental project at WR. It looks like he's going to be a developmental success story. Just at the right time.

Long Popper piece. Bosa and Mack please have a memorable playoff run together. It could be epic.

In three seasons, Mack and Bosa have shared the field for only about a quarter of the snaps. Still, they've developed an unbreakable bond.

I thought we all agree we will never take a player that plays like that, why the KA exception? If accurate its inexcusable, if you put on an NFL uniform and you step on the field, you don’t do what you just described ever for any team for any reason. KA was getting paid $20M to give his team his all.

When I heard Tyreek talk in his own words and justify why he refused to go in and play last weekend, that he had to put his family first and think about himself and his future … in the middle of a game where MIA still had a playoff chance where he’s getting paid $30M/year to play … that was it. Off the List Forever!

That is the worst sell job since AJ told us Jacob Hester was the perfect blend between a real running back and a real fullback …

I just lost respect for Slayer if your report is true.

Texans fanboy writer predicts Mixon150 rush yds, Herbert 2 picks, Stroud 0 turnovers.

The postseason is here and for the second year in a row, the Houstn Texans will host a playoff game. Last year, they upended the Cleveland Browns in a lopsided contest.

Wondering if the Palisades Fire is going to affect air quality at The Bolt and the ability to practice there. The flames are only about 10 air miles away.

I read we are top 3rd youngest team. Lets keep it that way. The Vikings are the oldest.

This shows them as 5th youngest team. And I agree - lets keep it that way
