So we could use another pick or two. We could trade down from #22, worth 780 points, down to around #26, for an 80 point difference. With that ammo, we could get #107 or a combo of a low 4th rounder and a 5th rounder. Of course, if we ad***** into the playoffs and are in the high 20's or so, we would adjust accordingly.

I see this and if they end up picking at 22. Try to trade back to 27 and get a 4th and 5th this year and a 6th next year. I don’t think I’d be done there.

I am not in favor of automatically moving back to #27 just to get 4rths and 5ths.
Would not want to miss out on a guy i really like for a 4rth rounder.

Although Hortiz has been very impressive early day 3, can`t depend on him always nailing those picks.
It is a statistical aberration, so far.

They will get a good player if they were to trade back a few. It’s hard for me to believe Hortiz will only make 5 picks in 2026. I think he gets at least 2 more picks this year and maybe another next year.

personal suspicion is that all the viable tackles will be off the board by the time we select, albeit there could be a handful of tackle to guard converts worth considering....

Cayden Green, Earnest Greene, Austin Siereveld, Carter Smith & Trey Zuhn....

and just for kicks/the record, these are my bets for the IOL....

OG Olaivavega, Pregnon, Keylan Rutledge + Cayden Green, Earnest Greene, Austin Siereveld, Carter Smith (personally think I'd keep Trey Zuhn @LT ?)

If Hand and Tart are re-signed I'm good with putting off NT/DT to later in the draft. IMHO, OG/OC should be rnd 1 and 2. Take your center of the future in rnd 2 even if you think you might be taking them early. No way to guarantee they will be there when you pick in the 3rd rnd.
                  1) Cut Becton, Boz(ret), Dissly, DD, Fisk, and Dupree
                  2) Re-sign Tart, Hand (4m), Phillips (5m)
                  3) Sign the ERFA's Williams, Patterson, and Vidal (3m).
                  4) Sign free agents Cole Strange (OG-1.5 m), Whyatt Teller (OG-10m), Luke Fortner (OC-6.5m), Brunskill (OC-vet min) Leo Chenal (LB-5m), Rashid Shaheed (WR- 14m), Cade Otten (TE-8m) Greg Dulcich (TE-3m), K'Lavon Chaisson (ED 9m), Myers (DT-7.8m), Alec Ingold (FB-6m), Hendrickson (ED-25m), Seumalo (OG-9m), AVT (OG). Jenkins (OG- 12m)

so do you have a preference round one.... Olaivavega or Pregnon ??

and round two ?? thinkin' Slaughter or Logan Jones are the safest bets, albeit personally like Laloulu for his intangibles, and then Conner Lew is still in the mix early on many accounts.... ??

I was reading some blurbs on Slaughter and Lew. Both seem to be pretty solid Centers. It's got to be the draft or FA. Boz can play backup. To me, Center is the most important out of all positions at this time. Hell I wouldn't mind a draft nothing but IDL, IOL, maybe another LB.

Chargers have over 100 million in FA too. They can address a lot of glaring positions of need before they even make a single draft pick.
