I am not tracking with your point. We had the #32/32 OL. OC #41/41. RG #79/81. LG #51/81. do you not see how far those grades are from just average, before you need to worry about a pro bowl invite?

Did you quote me the 1979 Chargers OL? the irony of how far back you needed to go doesn't say anything? ok - the PB count game: Russ had 6 pro bowls. Doug had 3. Ed had 4. So we need 3 pro bowlers.

Rashawn, Joe and Tyler will also be 3, barring a great OG s******** to go with them. Dont you think Slater, Linderbaum and Alt would form the nucleus of a good OL?

Yep - Looks like 3 is the number, per you, and I've got the solution ...

Linderbaum would bring an extra dimension we need. He'd be the captain of the o-line, making reads and adjustments, calling out assignments. He's known to be ultra-bright.

We had a ton of wrong reads and assignment failures this season. That needs to end.

Exactly right. Get you get Linderbaum and have two healthy players in Slater and Alt, that is where you can maybe a Zion at 51/81 and he is still young and for RG, you have Cleveland on a futures so maybe you don't spend big on Wyatt Teller or David Edwards and draft somebody --- but Linderbaum is the key, he would do what Linsley did, make those around him better.

Slater - Linderbaum - Alt, and you can plug 2 rookies into the G spots no problem. This is an excellent draft for O line. Numerous players that can play multiple positions along the O line too.

I took a few minutes to add PFF 2025 Grades and ranks to the Spottrac OG FA list. I sorted it by PFF Grade (not rank). You can find Zion if you scroll down to name #26. (I noted a couple non-OGs in the list - blame Spottrac, not me)

You can sign Seumalo, Ingram, Toth, Zeitler, Bitonio, Johnson, etc., - all for about the same $10M - and Zion is the re-sign FA Target recommendation from TPB?

Please explain it slowly like I'm in 5th grade.

              This is great, thank you!

I’m all about resigning Zion, plug him next to Linderbaum and then sign Dalton Risner for a back up roll. He quietly had a good year. Draft either Brian Parker Jr. or Keylan Rutledge in the 2nd. Done!

Wish it were. But it's not...based on those I've read/listened to.

There won't be a big number of o-linemen drafted that are ready to start on day one.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking?

                  2) Re-sign Tart, Hand (4m), Phillips (5m)
                  3) Sign the ERFA's Williams, Patterson, and Vidal (3m).

Well, well ....look at some of the names on there. Penning below Zion, Jordan McFadden a little above Zion,....Will Hernandez who some here wanted , well below Zion and Penning.
Dylan Radunz was always way over hyped. Evan Neal ....lol

I'd rather have Proctor or Vega in Zions spot. Especially if it means we could use Zions money for Linderbaum!

Then who do you have at RG? Release Becton, Boze and that pays for Zion and then some. Then go sign Linderbaum and draft your RG early. My choices have been clear and repeated with Brian Parker Jr. or Keylan Rutledge. Sign Zion to 3 years $36 mil. so when his contract is up, you then resign Alt and have drafted Zion’s replacement.

I personally don’t think they should have 2 rookies on the line. I also don’t want to spend the top 2 picks on Oline. I would rather have 1 IOL and 1IDL in the first 2 picks like Lee Hunter in the 1st and 1 of those 2 RGs I mentioned.

You can release Dissly and Dupree to go resign Tart for 3 years $24 mil.

I am asking why doesn’t anyone want to try to sign one of the 25 names above him? Whats with the knee jerk re-sign Zion movement about?

In fairness, some here do get it and do propose signing an OG that played better than Zion. Just not enough for my liking …. I’m pushing for unanimity
