Everyone seems to think Richardson is this great pass rusher. He has had success in NY doing that, but the last few years he has gotten really sloppy with his hand use. He is mostly a run defender at this point. His pass rush ability has largely evaporated.
He can get it back, if and when he really gets focused on using his hands better again, but he is getting a lot of money to be a very high priced run defender at this point. Maybe his pass rush comes back, but he is getting a lot of money for something he hasn't done in a long time.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Los Angeles Chargers will be playing host to USC QB Sam Darnold and UCLA QB Josh Rosen in the coming days.
While these visits will very much be in the same vain as the 30 official predraft visits allotted to teams, NFL.com's Austin Knoblauch notes that they will not count against the official tally "[s]ince the visits aren't outside L.A." The Chargers are one of several teams with an aging quarterback who could potentially target a signal-caller in this draft, though they will have to trade up to procure the services of Darnold or Rosen -- currently, they own pick No. 17, far off the range for those two esteemed gunslingers. In Rotoworld's electronic offices, we've had some spirited debates as to whether Lamar Jackson could potentially be a first-round target for a team like the Chargers.
