Yeah, Gruden is over rated imo. He has made many dumb personel decisions when he had the power to, like in Tampa Bay. McKenzie is the guy that makes the final decisions for Oakland but im sure Gruden has plenty of input but if im the GM, they either let me do my thing or im walking.

Gruden was a great offensive coach and it appears he still is. He was never much for defense. And he is falling into the trap of wanting to be HC and GM at the same time. Few have been able to do that over the years.

Gruden is getting 100M. If he wants a new GM, he'll get one. There is no power struggle here, Gruden has all the power.

And for $100 M over10 years, he'd better deliver 100 wins in 10 years.

I agree with you on Bosa, I don't expect him this year if it's a tendon injury.

James, though, line him up everywhere and see if a pass rush lane opens up. Can he get 10 sacks?
