I listened to Shanahan after the 49er game and he said that James lined up wrong and executed wrong on that interception he caused. He said they were running the play to defeat the blitz on the other side by Addai and there was no way James was supposed to be where he was. Sounded pretty confident in it.

Most defensive backs struggle their first couple years... there aren't many who can move up a level and be effective right away, the change in talent is too drastic.

However, he's not just 'getting it', he's a complete impact player. I've been so impressed with him.

He's been a difference maker. Sky's the limit for him.

I hope we lock up Boss sooner than later. Need to find a legit MLB and a serviceable DT and then this defense is truly loaded.

Agree. He can make plays all over the field. He has size, some speed, can hit and great instincts. Sky's the limit. He was excited to be on the field with Bosa last week.
