Yeah, Gruden is over rated imo. He has made many dumb personel decisions when he had the power to, like in Tampa Bay. McKenzie is the guy that makes the final decisions for Oakland but im sure Gruden has plenty of input but if im the GM, they either let me do my thing or im walking.

Not sure I buy that but if it's true, then Gruden will bring that team down. He isn't the best personal man. Billichick is the only one that has been successful being the HC and doing GM duties

Id be all for it lol. Gruden like i said will bring that team down. He likes old guys and is obsessed with QBs. He had 4 on his roster at TB at one point.

He missed a few tackles the last game. Hope he gets back to his solid tackling. And I think he is going to start really blowing people up once he gets more familiar with his keys. Kind of scary. I posted this somewhere else, but near the end of the game, there was a check down to Richard and James came flying up and just missed him. He would have decleated the guy. Rare to see someone so big be so fast. And so willing to throw his body around.

If you line up everywhere by design and then you line up in the wrong spot, does the offense know or just wonder what he's doing on that play? Because you have to account for him

I listened to Shanahan after the 49er game and he said that James lined up wrong and executed wrong on that interception he caused. He said they were running the play to defeat the blitz on the other side by Addai and there was no way James was supposed to be where he was. Sounded pretty confident in it.
