Corey Robinson has started 5 games, all of them for the Lions as an injury replacement. He is the guy who had the tell that Emmanuel used to get the strip-sack to win the game in his rookie debut.

At this stage of his career, with the right OL coach, he might develop into a OK backup. But his general sloppiness and lack of good, consistent technique makes him less attractive for us than anyone already on the roster.
That game turned out to be the high point of Emmanuel's career. It's interesting looking back on those games. Shape of things to come for Mike McCoy's head coaching tenure, struggling to beat what turned out to be a bad Lions team.

Oh, man, talk about playing with a chip on yer shoulder! You better believe JJ, Ekkie, Detrez and Cox will be FIRED UP this pre-season. It's basically like an OPEN TRY-OUT for FEATURE BACK...though I still like the committee idea...but one of those four is going to be the COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN...

Time to bubble wrap Ekeler and JJ. We don't need any more injuries to the RBS. Or the OTs for that matter.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

The Cowboys were fortunate enough to draft Zack Martin.

The Colts had Quenton Nelson fall into their laps.

They spark two of the best Olines in the NFL.

Is it possible for one player, an offensive guard mind you, to play at such a high level that an entire Oline's play is greatly elevated ?

Could that be what is in store for us with Forrest Lamp ?

We do not play modern football.

The answer is yes one player can have that kind of impact. Whether Lamp is that player is TBD

Rough position. They should preserve Ekeler and JJ as much as possible in the pre season. There's plenty of camp fodder at the RB position in Pope, Gore and Cox

Getting paid and getting top dollar isn't what Gordan should expect. He is the best back we have had since LT. Yet he is light years from LT status. Try to get more money Gordan but stay humble with what you bring to this team.

Oh wrong thread. Sometimes it beeeess like that.

From our good friends at PFF: camp battles
Right tackle -- Sam Tevi vs. Trey Pipkins

"The 2018 season will be one that right tackle Sam Tevi will quickly want to forget. Since 2006, there have been 392 instances where a right tackle has logged more than 300 pass-blocking snaps over the course of a single season, and among that list, Tevi's 13.7% pressure rate and his 92.5 pass-blocking efficiency from last season both rank 392nd. The odds may be somewhat stacked Pipkins, who was the first Division II prospect taken off the board in this year's draft, but it's not as if he has an impossibly high bar to clear this summer."

In pass pro, Tevi was ranked the 392nd right tackle out of 392 since 2006 - let that sink in! Where are you Jeromey Clary??

Now he can back it up as the worst left tackle of the last 13 years too.

In Tevi's Defence, he was kind of pressed in to duty early and was a DL only 2 or 3 years before that. Extremely inexperienced. Here's hoping he takes a Giant Leap For Chargerskind.
