I remember I wanted Donald Brown to groom as LT's replacement when he was in the draft. A few years late, but I'm glad he's in SD now. And he will fit in well, with the shotgun based offense we run.
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

Same here. The knock I saw with him was the same I saw with Mathews the next draft. Running too upright. But Mathews improved on that the past 2 seasons

Id still wouldnt mind a late round flyer on Isaiah Crowell. Obvious weapons Charge will drop him but hes been good since. Theres no denying his talent. Some team will make a Vontaze Burfict type flyer and he will most likely payoff.

to the peeps that thought Donald would be a major upgrade over Ronnie (myself included), have your expectations been met?

I think we got spoiled by Woodhead as 3rd down back last year- so nobody will match that. You have to throw out the weeks he missed concussed when looking at production, but yeah I think he gives us more than Ronnie when he's in there. Probably more Terrell Fletcher like at this point.

On another related note, Oliver has fallen WAY off after his 1st 2 big games....

I been wondering a few things about "The Donald"

When he was in Indy, Did they use a Fullback? Also what type of scheme did these normally use for running plays over there?

The shotgun draws aren't The Donald's bread and butter, It's seems he's not the type of back that can explode for a nice run from 6-7 yards back. Would an I-Form running play w/ David Johnson as a Fullback work out better for him? I know certain schemes and formations can make a good/great player look as if he has lost all his skills (EG: Johnathon Vilma playing under par w/ the Jets and then heading over to the Saints and getting back to his Pro-Bowl self)

The Donald simply didn't lose his mojo over a summer, So what gives?? Is it as simple as fixing our O-Line problems ?
