He caught 1 pass so I haven't seen enough to know if he is going to significantly help or not.

So the holdout was even dumber? Weird.

I'm kinda impressed he managed even that, given he joined the team a few days before the game. I expect him to be more involved as the season progresses. Again, he is not going to fill the role Henry was expected to fill, and he isn't going to make us forget about Antonio Gates, but Kendricks has been a decent receiver at TE in the fairly recent past and he's only 31. He caught 50 passes for the Rams in Goff's rookie season. I think he will certainly contribute and help the offense.

My question are Green and Culkin that bad? Culkin always looks decent to me as does Green but they never seem to get separation.

Culkin made at least one amazing grab last year from what I recall. Last week rivers threw it way behind him. Wasn't catchable. Jury is out. They just need to sync up possibly.

Cleveland guy I quoted yesterday had the scoop. He knew before schefter. Good stuff.

We are quite deep in talent at RB now with Gordon back.

                Excellent find Sir !
I believe the King James connection was significant.

But Gordon makes an OL look better. I think Ek is an amazing gem of a weapon. We need Gordon. We need good luck. We need to not be so spent physically in the 4th quarter.

TT used to talk about the hammer. He would show up to the draft with an actual hammer. It was supposed to signify the types of players he wants. Gordon is our hammer.
This. I'm a big Gordon fan (especially as a person) but our running game hasn't been the issue thus far, it's the pass blocking for the OL.

Overall no doubt having him helps.

I wonder when we can expect to see Okung back.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

                    - 69-74 record
                    - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
                    - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
                    - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
                    - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
                    - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
                    - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

I would be surprised to see Okung back this season, just seems too risky. Also, not to doom and gloom but the nature of both DJ and HH's injuries is that they are easy to aggravate once they are back, so be prepared to deal with that as well.

I am glad Gordon is back, while I don't think we have missed him as much as some others, I do think we will really need him full speed down the stretch to have any chance.

Wasn't catch-able? Even the announcers commented that while the pass was behind him, it did hit him and the hands and needed to be caught. Culkin SHOULD be better than he is, but doesn't seem to step up.
