I was going to say you can only have one player for this game, but trading out a current player is interesting. Downside is what you already mentioned. Neither TEs can block.

Alworth would be a great luxury pick given how teams like the Rams are in 11 personnel most of the time. And Jamal was also a very underrated pass rusher. I would probably lean towards Jamal between these two choices.

Just a real tough question to answer so many good choices. I would love to say LT or Seau but I think I would go with Winslow. He was fun to watch and with his career cut short by that horrible injury it would be fun to see him again.

            Tillery can anchor.
            Bosa can play inside.
            strong argument
if LT wasn't the most perfect back i've ever seen, i'd go with Dean

              Username fits...

              21 & 19

              You pick 'em.

BTW I have never been so angry in my life
when we traded Dean to SF.

And completely justified from what I heard
I understand that to be one of our biggest blunders

Some of us were eyewitness to the impact Fred Dean and Leslie O'Neal had on games.
It was the difference between playing at least some defense and being completely helpless,
subject to the other defensive personnel we had out on the field at the same time.

Regarding LT and Bambi, whenever I feel down,
I just go and watch highlight of these two greats.
It is easy to forget how good they were.

He would definitely fill a need at TE (even with HH back healthy this year).

                      Third Rodney at FS
Rodney never played FS. He was always a SS for us. And I guess with both Derwin and now Nasir, I wonder how useful he would be for us this season (barring injuries).

                        . Overall though
Bosa to DT. Never thought of doing that but if you did that and put Dean on one end and O'Neal on the other end it would be wicked good.

I've been thinking purely what would help this years team and that's why I said Jamal and Lance - but, LT was probably the best player we ever had. Can you imagine the passing attack with Allen and Alworth and Mike! With todays rules Alworth would be near impossible to cover and Allen is near impossible to cover. We'd be seing the lightening back in the offense.

                          This is a fun exercise.
                          Alworth was amazing.
I agree he would succeed in today's NFL.
