He wasnt the greatest RB. But guys like Sproles and Woodhead need to thank him for giving them that type of role as a 3rd down tiny receiving back. Ekeler as well. We have always had that type of small complimentary player on this play at a high level for us. In the passing game especially.

Don't forget.
James Brooks was traded when he refused to play fullback w/Chuck Muncie.
We got Pete Johnson RB, who played all of three games for the Chargers.
The Bengals got a young, tough versatile RB in Brooks, who had only led the NFL in all purpose yards in two out of his three first years.
