I am trying to lure a hired gun to LAC for one year and a run at the Super Bowl.

Shady was best with Incognito, Eric Wood, et al...Pouncey's in charge here. Do not undervalue this playmaker's capability to help us win the Lombardi. See LeGarrette Blount.

Shady's BUF contract was front loaded, so scratch the $6.4 mil. $10 mil one year will get it done with minimal risk.

Get beyond the MG III mess...recoup the losses.

Any moment Zeke will sign for lots of dollars. Do it now.

I have a solution here, however imperfect.
Problem is a 1 year 10 m deal is 10mil against a cap we don't have 10m to spare. That and 10m is way over paying for Mccoy.
Don't think a declining RB is gonna put us over the top. Tunsil or Trent Williams would help more than Mccoy if you are going to pay someone big money.

Want to aquire a RB, maybe trade for Derrick Henry.

I think we're fine at RB...with Ekkie, JJ and Pope, we've got a nice committee...now, if we're going to make a trade, get a player at a true PON, like OT...

I think you're right - either tomorrow or Monday, not sure which. They don't have to wait for the actual first game - i think they count the prep week as week 1 has started.

Now we have to wait on MG's agents to put up or shut up. I bet they'll complain about how unfair the situation was to their client.

The Chargers offered him a similar deal and he chose the Chiefs.

I think Gordon will be getting awful nervous about now. I think he knows the club wants him but TT sticking to his valuation. Gordon is going to end up losing money by the week at this point and giving Jackson a golden opportunity here. Rosters are solidifying and cap space is closing fast. Wont be many teams to talk with soon Gordy....get the pen out and sign that TT deal before he yanks it for an OT trade.

Huh. So much for the Lynn connection.
