Sadly we know how well the vets play against that level of competition. I think Pipkins has a shot.

With Okung out and Schofield at OG, the OTs are all youngsters. Pipkins is probably the most talented and definitely the least experienced. He has a shot but they may choose experience, albeit limited. Scott & Tevi have played NFL games and may show that they have benifitted from the experience. We don't know how they will play in their 2nd year until we see them. Scrimmages v LAR, NO & preseason games will determine starters.
Initially Scho appeared to be out back-up swing OT- until he was pressed into service at RG. Putting Lamp & Feeney at OG, Scho at OT is another option.

IF RO survives the cut to 53, it will be because they intend to play him, roughly 99% certain. Pipkins probably doesn't start v Colts but that could change anytime. Maybe halftime v Colts.

Can't they place him on IR where they have the option to bring him on the roster by week 8? I don't think it will be clear by week 1.

And there is the option to stick Lamp at tackle. Lamp has said that he has been getting reps at tackle - i don't know which side.
