I think Dzubnar gets cut before the final 53. He good on ST's, but he's a one-dimensional LB who cannot cover worth squat. I looked it up--he's never gotten a pick or a PD his entire CAREER. Look at all the LB's the Bolts have signed or drafted lately: Davis, Tranquill, Egbule, ALL are LB's who are dual threat to stuff the run AND can cover. Our defense is evolving to be able to stop QB's like Brady and Mahomes, who can pass on any down, and we need the horses in place who have the flexibility to stop anything modern offenses throw at us.

Moving on from a LB who can only play on ST would be a good measure that the LB corps has been upgraded.

True but DZub is an easy cut for me. His STs value will be filled by one of these rookies and he wasn't good as a LB so no value there.

They should probably cut Dzub now and let him move on to a team that could use him. Respect the guy enough to let him have a full training camp with another team.

I agree. He's not a guy I want to see at LB. I think we keep 7 on the 53. Perryman, Tranquill, Davis, Brown, White, Nwosu, Egbule. If we keep 8, I would pick someone with more upside at LB.

I was scratching my head trying to figure out what was being conveyed there as well.
