I am sure TT had an indication of where both guys were at physically.

That's my point. THEY knew, we didn't. If we knew about the surgeries, we would be clamoring for an OG.

At least I felt we needed another starting WR for this year. I was OK with Clary starting this season.

Even with Floyd back there's cause for concern, cuz it's Floyd (injury history).

            Hmmm......

Has anyone ever seen both of these guys in the same room?

I understand. I rather like that they had a number of injuries and surgeries that went undisclosed. It means other teams can not poach guys off our draft board based on our true needs and what is available.

That's a fair point. I'm hoping a decrease in snaps this season can keep him healthier than year's past.

David Wilson sent to hospital for battery of tests

After suffering a “burner” in practice Tuesday, the Giants are going to take no chances with running back David Wilson.

The team announced that Wilson was being taken to the Hospital for Special Surgery for a battery of tests and a complete workup. Wilson had neck surgery this offseason, so it’s an obvious concern.

They don’t know much at this point, but any injury anywhere near his neck is worrisome for the Giants.

“We were all praying that it would be not an issue,” Giants coach Tom Coughlin said, via Tom Rock of Newsday

Rock also points out, the other name for a burner is “transient neurapraxia,” which doesn’t fit as neatly into the world of fantasy football.

Given what Wilson has gone through already, lending some gravity to the situation isn’t the worst idea.

See what happens if Floyd gets a stinger... Hope he doesn't, but anything can happen.

ESPN San Diego Chargers reporter Eric D. Williams says second-round selection Jeremiah Attaochu has been one of the impressive young players through the first week of camp.

                          Jeremiah Attaochu impressive early

One of the more impressive players for the Chargers during the first week of camp has been Jerry Attaochu

The second round pick has shown why the Chargers moved up to get him, showing explosive first step in pass rush drills and also the ability to play physical in the run game.

Now Attaochu has been taught a thing or two by the mammoth offensive tackles the Chargers have in D J Fluker and King Dunlap

And in talking to him this week, he emphasized that he struggled at times trying to around those bigger bodies, however with his relentless nature, and enthusiasm and aggressiveness, he's been able to overcome those bigger bodies and really makes some plays his first week of camp.

So I expect Attaochu to be an impact player for this defense moving forward in 2014
