Per NFL transaction report, WR Dylan Cantrell (shoulder) and WR Fred Trevillion cleared waivers, so the two revert to IR. Both players were at practice today.

** Apparently he liked living in the fast lane at little too much.

I haven't seen Cantrell do anything. I don't believe he's all pro anything and never will be even if he was always available to play. I can be 100% wrong, sees alot of folks are very high on him. I see a guy who isn't fast and isnt quick and doesn't have good moves - so he won't beat DBs to get open early underneath or downfield (well, absent a blown coverage of course).
i see a tweener, and i hate tweeners. not personally, of course, but as players. NFL is specialized at every position, there are no jack of all trade guys in the NFL - the last tweener on LAC o recall was Hester, he was useless. I see Cantrell as a guy too slow of foot for WR and too small for TE. but again, i could be 100% wrong and would be happy to eat all of these words“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”
