PHI thought they had one of the best Olines in the NFL this season.
This was before several things happened.
Starters Andre Dillard, Brandon Brooks, Lane Johnson were injured. Dillard was someone everybody at TPB wanted us to draft and he is mediocre. Brooks/Johnson are only two of the very best Olinemen in the NFL--no exaggeration.
It became apparent in a hurry that Jason Peters is too old. 2020 midrounder investments Driscoll and Wanogho are not ready.
When we get Bulaga, Turner back, we will begin to stabilize. Lamp/Feeney in the middle is kind of rough at times, but it is a start. Oline issues continue to be pervasive league wide. Teams do reach critical mass.
I would probably not be against trading up for Sewell, as an anchor would not be a bad idea.
Screaming incessantly in game threads that the Oline sucks, for years on end, is not a football take. It is a plea to be put in the state mental hospital.
:smile:We do not play modern football.

@JeffMillerLAT8h
#Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said LT Sam Tevi got poked in the eye, which is why Storm Norton was in there at the end.

Stats fail in this scenario
crazy ironic because I figure that if it’s one area that would have been figured out and prioritized by now is the ground game
not to pile on Lynn but
The one thing I thought was a safe bet when we hired him.P1. Block Destruction - Ogbonnia
P2. Shocking Effort - Eboigbe
P3. Ball Disruption - Ford
P4. Obnoxious Communication - Matlock

The entire right side of our OL is out. Even when TT goes FA to try and solidify things it fails. Is it me or do we have a team of guys who do t play unless they’re 100%? Pouncey took the Chargers to the cleaners but they should have known better than to invest and depend on a broken down guy. I don’t even know what is keeping Turner and Bulaga out?
