I was thinking Phil had maybe one year left( kind of like the last year Manning played in Denver) to be a game manager for an otherwise dominant Colt team.
He's had a great run though. Dude is an absolute WARRIOR!
They do play in a dome.

You have a terrible read on the situation.

Right now, Rivers is far more capable than Peyton's final year. The Colts are also nowhere near as stacked as that Broncos team was.

I was suggesting that NEXT YEAR.
PR will be a year older and that defense even more sound. And Taylor, with a year under his belt, will be a more productive back.

Yup he's in a situation to win some playoff games at this rate. He's actually doing better in clutch situations this year.

Rivers will be Rivers still on occasion both the good and the bad. Hes clearly in a fundamentally better system currently

Do you think he is going to be able to finish the season? with that foot injury....

Sometimes I think that other fellow would've give us a better chance to win in that final... but it was against Bellicheat.... it was hard anyway....

I remember Ware talking about that years ago: how Rivers had a 6th sense in moving around in the pocket to avoid him. If Rivers was David Carr,
he'd get sacked 60 times a year, given the crappy olines he's had.

Rivers was not the problem last year. All the chaos going on around him took its toll.

Sunday 12/13/20 at the Raiders will be Rivers 237th consecutive start and he will now be 60 consecutive starts behind Brett Favre's all time record of 297. (Including the playoffs it will be Rivers 248th consecutive start which is also 2nd all time, and 73 behind Favre's total record of 321).

                          Happy belated 39th Birthday Philip!
