Sunday 12/08/2019 will be Philip's 38th Birthday!! Versus the Jaguars it will be Rivers 221st consecutive start and 76 consecutive starts behind Brett Favre's all time record of 297 which could be broken in 2024 (including the playoffs it will be Rivers 232nd consecutive start which also 2nd all time, and 89 behind Favre's total record of 321).

Happy Birthday to my favorite Charger ever!!

Sunday 12/15/2019 versus the Vikings will be Rivers 222nd consecutive start and 75 consecutive starts behind Brett Favre's all time record of 297 which could be broken in 2024 (including the playoffs it will be Rivers 233rd consecutive start which also 2nd all time, and 88 behind Favre's total record of 321).

Kirk Cousins of the Vikings is currently 3rd active and it will be his 78th consecutive start, (it will be Russell Wilson's 126th consecutive start for the #2 active streak).

Stafford and Ryan were hurt earlier this year breaking their streaks.

Fyi on Matt Ryan, now 10th place all time in passing yards over 50k and 34 years old, decent chance he passes Marino as well if he plays until 40 ish. A lot of people dog piling on Rivers but Ryan hasn't won anything either.

Stafford only 5k yards behind Rodgers and 4 years younger than Rodgers and will pass Fouts next if his back heals.

Some announcer on ESPN stated today that there are 8 qb's better than Rodgers right now.

Rivers will play in 2020. For who, not sure. But he will play based on his press conference today.

Rivers has played the last three years without a single home game. Another NFL record.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

If we resign him, he won’t next year either. This organization is utterly delusional if they think moving into a new, bigger stadium is going to magically transform the LA population into Charger fans. The ONLY hope they had was deep playoff runs multiple years in a row and the team collapsed in the most critical season.

The Vikes may have made an impression on him (literally)
Cousins has looked good recently but I think Rivers would thrive there.

The best analogy I can think of is the Rams (I still think there are more Chargers fans than Rams fans, they just don't live in Los Angeles). Packers at Rams and Packers at Chargers was basically a 60/40 crowd split at both locales.

Meaning appx 15K cheeseheads at Carson and appx 40k cheeseheads at the Coliseum.

So now for the Chargers instead of 15k Raiders fans it will be 40k Raiders fans?

I really want us Bolt fans to invade Vegas next year, who's up for a fun road trip?

I want the Raiders to feel what it's like, imagine how many Bostonians will go party in Vegas to watch the Pats play at the Raiders.

Sunday 12/29/2019 at the Chiefs will be Rivers 224th consecutive start and 73 consecutive starts behind Brett Favre's all time record of 297 which could be broken in 2024 (including the playoffs it will be Rivers 235th consecutive start which also 2nd all time, and 86 behind Favre's total record of 321).

Might this be Rivers final as a Charger? Ever? I for one hope to see him as the Chargers opening day starting QB in 2020! (and starting QB for the Bolts in the 2021 SB!)
