Defense gave up 19 today. Not 26. Another 3 of those given up by defense were due to the offenses ineptitude.

Defense wasn't the biggest problem.

Gus still needs to go. His schemes are atrocious.

Defense lost the game. If this was the other way around, where Rivers was lights out all game but then blew it at the end, you'd still blame him.

It wasn't the biggest problem, but it could have won the game with one more stop. Instead they let Oakland drive 75 yards in less than 3 minutes for the winning TD drive, despite being rested and having momentum on our side.

I wanted us to let them score for that very reason once they hit mid field. I have no faith in bradley on final drives of halves or games. We are the worst in those situations.

Offense needed to score quicker on the previous drive cuz we all knew what would happen.

Of course offense had horrible play calling on the final drive with 1 min and 3 timeouts

Couldn’t agree more. Defense looked so soft and uninspired. Offense did not make one play. Got a first down by penalty but not one completion. No dump offs to Ekeler? Gordon? Just horrid. Tom Brady is laughing again how inept we are on offense in a 2 minute drill.

We abandoned Gordon second half. We scored just 10 points in the second half.

Rivers didn't have his best game by far.

but with 3 min left the chargers had a 4 pt lead and alowed a 70 ish yard drive for a td.

blame Rivers for his errors, but the game was there for the taking, short week, on the road.

Yep, that's what they do. NFL marketing has convinced them that a QB change will cure bad coaching, bad defense, and the worst O-line in the league.

Philip Rivers career is done in LA his best coach was Marty the rest have been terrrrrrrrible .The GMs have been horrific and the ownership has never cared to build a powerhouse .The truth is I hope you know it’s over now and the window has been shut awhile.The Rebuild must start immediately .Coach Lynn needs to go along with Bradley and The idiot GM clean house .No way in hell Brady plays here and he would get murdered behind this line .Keenan Allen is slow he should never be running a go route .We gave away Rivers only real deep threat and never replaced him .I don’t want Rivers leading this team any longer it’s over .

The point wasn’t to blame rivers for the pick but that the defense gave up 19 and shouldn’t be the focus of blame when you have a minute to get into Fg range with 3 time outs.
