Will say this: Wentz likely sabotaged his future career in the league as a backup with his choices last Thursday, however, well intentioned. I have no doubt he battled through extraordinary pain and the worst of circumstances...fought the heroic fight, but...

• If you grimace and suck it up and fight in a win? Extra points, dude.
• If you grimace and suck it up in a close game, though lost? Still, points for you.
• But if you grimace and suck it up in a blow-out loss...and you grimace a lot and suck a lot, playing on your sixth team? No one will go near you.
