Let them spend $40M on a player, I say. Nobody here would ever want to spend that for any player - some not even for our QB. We didn’t even get consensus to spend $20M on a player this year here.Originally posted by Jack Burton View Post

I wouldnt lay too much $$ that the 2026 LAC offense is even the same as 2025 MIA. Get him in here instead so that we have an actual legit FB instead of the silly trials with PS-quality DTs and PS-quality TEs we keep trying at “FB”. Guys not good enough to play their own position at NFL level are moved to a position they can’t play and are ill-suited for - yeah no.Originally posted by Jack Burton View Post

Someone posted a link this morning regarding the Biadasz signing with a link to the top 150 FAs and their market value and Bush' I believe was 42 mil for 3 or 4 years. Too rich for me.Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View PostDidn't realize the PFF grade for Devin Bush was so good
But started in Pittsburgh, didn't work out there
Seattle
Cleveland
Just might finally be "getting it" - might cost more than I thought

I remember last year this time we were discussing Spillane and you said he’d be too expensive.Originally posted by Boltjolt View Post

I liked Spillane. Don't recall what he signed for but we do have more money this year. Not sure it was me that said that but ok if I did lol.Originally posted by Jack Burton View Post

And I was off. ..it was 3 / 47 for Bush. Quay Walker would be much cheaper who is at 2/17
You need to subscribe to the Athletic to see it but here it is. Biadasz got more than they predicted. I think Hortiz threw him a bone to sign him.
Maybe someone can copy and paste it, I'm on my phone right now. Too difficult. It's long and has drop downs

But in this Center market -- I think $10m is pretty good
Linderbaum will drive up McGovern who will probably drive up Mays and Fortner - so Biadasz higher than Mays and Fortner, makes sense to me

It feels really good to have center solved at a good price before free agency even starts. Badiasz easily for me over Mays and Fortner.Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View Post

Well done Joe, getting your most glaring hole done first.

Vikings starting center Ryan Kelley just retired. He was a multi pro bowler for Colts for a while and started for Vikes last year. Had a season left on his contract. Glad we have our center because seems like a ton of teams are looking for one. What is up with the centers anyway? Geez
Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.
