I predict the Raiders will go 0-6 in the AFCWest this season. I predict the Chargers will go 6-0 in the AFCWest this season.
Plus, that optism was before the Slater-Alt injuries .... it was well warranted.

Raiders will go 1 - 5, one victory over the Chiefs in Las Vegas.

The Chargers are an LA rarity, they were actually born in LA...the Dodgers come from NY, the Lakers from Minnesota, the Clippers were born in San Diego, but the Kings and the Angels are LA originals although the Angels have been based out of Anaheim for a long time...

It's ironic he's talking shit right now considering he might not even be a Raider by the trade deadline...

You sure can't expect Crosby to know all that. I'm sure he has no idea where those teams originated. And the Clippers name may have been renamed in SD but they came from Buffalo and called the Buffalo Braves.

I don't know much about the NBA, I'd remember that both the Clippers and the Rockets left San Diego, correct? I didn't know that the Clippers originated in Buffalo tho...BTW, I forgot to mention the Rams, I know that they originated in Cleveland for the first 10 years of their existence but then the were in LA for almost half a century I think 48 years, then 21 years in St. Louis and now another 10 years in LA...

Between the NFL teams that have played in Los Angeles, the Raiders, the Rams, and the Chargers---the Bolts are the only team that actually originated in Los Angeles...Crosby doesn't know his NFL history...

The true test of toxic fans is to wear your Bolts jersey among a sea of Raider fans in their home stadium, and vice versa...now, ask yourself, which of the two would feel safer? A Raider fan in a sea of powder blue, or this dude?:

Just going off my own life experience dealing with Raider fans, I remember two young men picking a fight with my then pregnant wife when she was coming back from the restroom at Jack Murphy...I was still a young enough man then that I got in their faces and they backed the fuck down once they saw she had someone close by...so not just classless trash but fucking cowardly pieces of shit to boot...I do have some friends and relatives that are Raider fans but a large part of their fanbase is absolute fucking trash...for Crosby to call out Charger fans is absurd, his CTE is fucking with his processing for sure...

I remember the Buffalo Braves, with Tiny Archibald and Bob McAdoo.

Trivia: name the only league MVP given to someone playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, in their 50 + years in the NBA?

Some Raider Fan *geniuses* have conflated "non-doormat" with "competitive", but... Sorry. I don't see anything better than an 8-8 season in front of them, and there aren't a lot of Bragging Rights associated with being a .500 team.
The raiders will be a better team this season.... they will be much harder to beat....

On paper, the Raiders should be better...but...the Bolts will ALSO be better...

The only team in the division that WON'T be harder to beat is KC. The improved Raiders will be playing the improved Chargers, and since the Raiders got swept in 2025, I don't see them as having any kind of advantage now.

I'm not saying that the Raiders will be easy to defeat. But they're in too strong a division for their improvement to vault them into any kind of advantaged position.

                      McAdoo, right?

Tiny Archibald and Mugsy Bogues: I loved how they could maneuver their way through opponents who towered over them like trees.

yes, Bob McAdoo was the NBA MVP while playing for the Buffalo Braves somewhere in the early/middle 70s.
