Can someone explain to me why Brady is so upset about the numbers change? He mentioned figuring out who to block....shouldn't the offense look to block ALL defenders?????

I'd guess knowing the LBs are in the 50's all the time it makes a little difficult to identify LBs if they have single digits or 20's, etc.

I'm not real thrilled with the change either. It's pretty drastic for the NFL.

I dont get why they changed the rule. seems gratuitously unnecessary. What problem are they fixing, besides slumping jersey sales? Oh, never mind. Pigs eat.

I’m going to have to work on caring about the impact this has on Tom. A full-team player would thinking about how his DC can disguise his own LBs as the kicker to gain an advantage, he seems myopic.

QBs read the numbers of players all the time. You always hear them calling out a LB's number pre snap.
