The Rams training camp is at U.C. Irvine, Crawford Field, which has natural turf. Well, at least they can't blame the injury on artificial turf...

I agree about any potential FA until at least after some of the preseason games have been played. Staley needs time to coach his players and see what depth they have before signing anybody. Than around Labor Day, final cuts, the team can ascertain areas of need and free agents available.

Not that it matters here, but one of my daughter's best friends from middle school and high school is engaged to Highsmith. He is a pretty good dude from what I hear.

I kind of thought the Fackrell signing was in place of bringing back Ingram. That gives the team Bosa, Nwosu, Fackrell, Rumph, Gaziano & Lemonier, with Tillery potentially off the edge too.

I kind of thought the Fackrell signing was in place of bringing back Ingram. That gives the team Bosa, Nwosu, Fackrell, Rumph, Gaziano & Lemonier, with Tillery potentially off the edge too.

I have to think that Lemonier is-- at best-- practice squad material.

Staley may be great at "identifying what players do best, and putting them in the position to do THOSE things"...

But this is *not* the Island of Lost Toys, where guys who've been non-factors are, en masse, transformed into factors. We *might* be lucky enough to have two or three guys who's play is seriously elevated by Staley's schemes. But the number isn't going to be 15 or 20.
