The Chargers announced their four practice squadprotected players for the season opener against the Football Team.

They seem to have no actual witness to the murder. What they have is a statement by people who were apparently involved in the commission of a crime.
If the police find a gun in Swift's possession that matches up with the bullets, or some physical evidence, they can move forward.

If Swift is the killer, but he has an alibi, or someone who affords him an alibi, and there is no physical evidence, there isn't much anyone can do.

Anthony Lynn can have a good talk with him.
