La'el COllins signing with the Bengals it seems - good move as they needed RT

So I guess a guy like Riley Reiff might be open fora cheap one year signing

Sony Michel? Is he still out there? I mean if we're resolved to going after 2nd- 3rd-tier guys for the rest of FA, then Michel fits that bill.

Why is so hard to find a second back, when up here in Northern Cali, the Niners pluck runners for the deep end of a draft constantly. We tried with Roundtree but didn’t see much. So just take another shot. Dime a dozen doesn’t really work here, but better than retreads.

There is a reason they pushed back 9m of cap space. I just go back to that. My guess maybe taking the week end off and early this week, start with the next moves. Not that the 9m still can't be rolled but seems odd to increase your cap space and not use it.

You are right on. For some reason the Niners can hit on RBs that nobody else cares about, and turn them into big time weapons, while Telesco's draft picks are no better than UDFA fodder.
