To me, "wildly immature" means squat without specifics
could be just someone not liking him or any a number reasons to hate on a kid.
Not enough info at this point, but worth looking into imo.
Pretty sure "wildly immature" translates to "zero accountability". Almost always some version of the player not being WHERE he's supposed to be, WHEN he's supposed to be there, lying about the circumstances, and then doing the same thing again, proving it's all bullshit.
Any possible interest in Jenkins must be tempered by the reality that the Chargers drafted Zion instead of Penning.
A lot of draftniks projected Penning to us...but Penning was the 4th OT chosen after Ekwonu, Neal and Cross...almost was a repeat of when we drafted Fluker, who was also the 4th OT taken that year...Green and Zion were both rated close, so we ended up with maybe the 2nd best G (by a slim margin) instead of the 4th best OT, who turns out to be kind of a head case...right now, the Zion pick looking pretty good...
I am pulling hard for Tillery. Dislike seeing players get hated on
Hate free proposition.
I've foolishly been JTs biggest supporter since he was drafted. I correctly called the JT pick and incorrectly raved about how he would put us over the top.

The big difference being the low draft capital that would be invested in acquiring him. Penning cost a top twenty pick in this years draft, jenkins can be had for a 2023 day three pick. It’s low risk if it fails and very high reward if it succeeds. No one could blame the chargers for taking a flier on a 24 year old kid with to s of upside.

This makes sense, if it saves losing a day three pick in 2023, it’s kind of like getting the tillery compensatory pick up front instead of waiting until 2024…
this would open the door for gaziano to potentially make the 53man roster SJD, johnson, fox, fehoko, obongnia, and either gaziano or covington
