That's a valid question. I imagine few would but it's possible that a player likes where he's living, doesn't want to move far away, and has many great friends on the team. If so, maybe some would stay put if the price seems right. That’s a good point, but his desire to stay in LA combined with the chargers matching what seattle gave him, IDK, that might’ve swayed him to stick around knowing that he was still going to get a crap ton of playing time spelling mack and bosa, much like he did when joey and melvin were the leading guys…didn’t the rams have that same situation with Leonard when they signed von miller? there is the a strong possibility that staley would’ve had joey inside with both mack and nwosu outside on passing downs too…but did the chargers even make him an offer or perhaps tell him they’d be willing to match Seattle's offer?
