Football teams rarely ever fire sale (if ever) like baseball teams do at a deadline. Contracts are structured differently, and football trades are usually based on getting picks in return so you need to make sure you have enough guys to finish a season. What makes it so easy to sell off in baseball is you can trade prospects (picks cannot be traded in baseball) and you have layers of talent in the minors to back fill your trades.I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.
