Well I would hate to see the score if the Giants had played Miami in week one….betcha it wouldn’t be a two point loss. And I think the Titans would beat them soundly. Vikings, too. Raiders would be a toss up. Sure I’m jumping all over Daboll. They played some good teams but they were not really even competitive (115-8 and it is not just one Miami whipping Broncos game it is all three games) and so sloppy all over the field. Some of the stink comes from Daboll. He is the head coach.

They play Miami this week, and it will probably be another blowout. Then they have the Bills, so it will probably an ugly 1-5. But guess what? With the Lions, Dan Campbell started 1-10-1 in 2021 and 1-6 last season. Now everyone loves him. I see similarities between Campbell and Daboll.

Michael Davis ia a FA after this year and from what I have seen I wouldn't resign him. Samuel has one year left on his rookie deal. Time to draft multiple DBs this year.

I think Michael Davis has trade value if they want to move him before the deadline. If they don't plan on re-signing him they should consider shopping him.

Davis is owed some 6m but a free agent

If they are out of it - Chargers should offer to pay the salary of Davis to maybe move up to get a better draft pick. This applies to Ekeler as well
Its about understanding the value of potential comp pick (which can vary and not be 100% guaranteed) compared to the value of actually getting a draft pick

I would take the known compared to the unknown. Plus with Davis and Ekeler being free agents, there is not the risk with injury that you might have to pay the player next year - unlike JC Jackson
