I agree. This is like when Herbert, Slater, James fell to our spot under Telesco. Sometimes you are just in the right spot. Bowers should be a very good player for a long time and he is not a trouble maker/ego maniac.

Not sure what to make of the new Chiefs WR. He is most definitely not Tyreek Hill. He is a better WR than he is given credit for and he can fly. Best case he is Deshawn Jackson. Worst case he is John Ross. From Chiefs perspective I mean. For us the cases are reversed!

I like Bo Nix. I think he is underrated. But I hope I am wrong and he fizzles under Payton. Maybe I can still root for him to play well somewhere else when he flops in Denver.

Bowers was a solid pick by Telesco - but like you said, he fell to them too. Still my favorite player in the draft - have thought he was a special player since he was a freshman at Georgia

As for today - expecting an overpaying trade by Telesco and think the Chargers are a good match!

Hard to argue going for the BPA, but that was not a position of need after drafting Mayer last year and signing a FA TE in the offseason.

I don't know what the Raiders PON's are but Bowers is a different kind of TE. He's more of a hybrid and more of a weapon. No redundancy with Mayer

Worthy is not a Tyreek Clone! Hill is bulkier and runs good routes along with his top end speed and shiftiness. Worthy will not take the punishment well in the NFL.
