Collins was a beast a couple of years ago, but, as you alluded, has declined some. In fairness he was solid last year...rated by PFF better than Kenneth Murray right now.

Though disappointing so far, Murray has much more potential physically... and upside. And he doesn't punch referees.

I'm trying to figure Lawrence out and it seems sometimes he has a hitch in his throw. When he keeps the ball high he has a fast throwing motion. But sometimes he brings it down below his waist and has a really long wind-up. A lot of bad throws and results after the hitch. Gonna need to fix that.

Has some trouble processing NFL speeds and Ds too.

I watched his proday and didn’t really came out impressed. Maybe it was his injury.

The long wind up was what i did not like about him in college: i thought he was well over rated.
Throwing to wide open receivers and running a lot to get out of trouble were additional problems.
I much preferred the BYU qb: but the Jets will grind him into a pulp.

Lawrence will never be able to carry Herbert's jock strap.

These are pretty bad. It reminds me of Rivers running away from pressure. Not a pretty sight. I think he had similar throws off the back foot that got intercepted. A good neighbor of mine is a big Steelers fan. I’m not even going to ask him if he watched the game.
