If Telesco had any intention of trading up for Burrow, he should include Ingram in the deal to sweeten the pot and maybe be able to hold on to a pick and gain even more cap space.
The Bengals are so far from being competitive that it would be pointless to have Ingram especially at his price. That’s why they would be interested in trading down in the first place, hypothetically.

While that is true, they are a dumb franchise.
So are the Browns,.... Those types just exist and they will have the cap space.

I don’t know If any teams from 1-5 would find Melvin to be a big sweetener or not. They watch the same film we all see.

So do the people that made that "win " list. Maybe teams use those things as well.
I don't know, but Melvin hasn't lived up to his pre draft hype.

Disagree with you on this one. Melvin had a very high win rate vs blockers. Tillery flashed the final four games. At little more juice and we are there. Our motto should be Beyond PFF...

I disagree with that. What did he actually win? There were games we had zero pressure. Just because somebody comes out with some list of bullshit doesn't make it so.
Melvin has been a non factor in many games and having Bosa in the other side was supposed to help him.
I think he has 1 season with double digit sacks...maybe 2 in his career and is why I wanted to sign Z'Darius Smith last off-season.
Shaun Phillips has been better in that regard than Melvin.

                I mentioned Tillery.
                The issue is inside pressure.
                Obviously, lack of blitzing
and soft zone coverage were also factors.

I think we should trade down from #6 to #10 or so, pick up an extra second rounder, and use our top 4 picks on O-line, IDL, a good man CB, RB or WR, and a QB (if someone's there the Bolts really like who is a clear upgrade over Tyrod/Stick), and not necessarily in that order...double dip on O-line in round 4 or 5...

I like ol' SupaMel...but I tend to agree...he may be expendable. If you think Nwosu is ready, Ingram + Gordon gone=Brandon Scherrf or the like...and we could really use that type of addition to our team.

Or to put simply....Scherrf>Ingram+Gordon. Nwosu is your Leo, draft pick(3rd?) is your Gordon...or the JJ/Eke show.
The TPB makes plans....And Jim Harbaugh laughs...

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB, Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

I see no reason to use a lower round pick on a QB again. We got those with Tyrod and Stick. Who late is a clear upgrade from those guys? Stick maybe, Tyrod I doubt.

Its like trying to crap in a swinging bucket.

No doubt Brandon Scherrf would be a great addition to our OL, but what males you think he's available?

Some also doubt his durabilty--and his price.

BTW 'Roo, Duke Manyweather say all five Oregon Olineman are draftable. OLT is best in the nation and a youngin'. Hansen C, Lemeiux G and Throckmorton ORT should be on our radar in '20. This means they are pretty sound fundamentally, and coachable.
