It sounds like Gordon may end up
    in Tampa with Rivers !
A great fit. Now Rivers can continue standing like a statue in the shotgun, as he again hands off the rock to Gordon up the, er, middle for nada...

Updating a previous report, Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn's contract extension puts him through the 2021 season.

The extension just added one season to his current contract, but it at least gets him into the new stadium for two seasons. This upcoming year will be a difficult one to manage with Phillip Rivers out of town and with the business side of things up in the air. Despite having strong rosters on paper, Lynn has a 26-22 record in three seasons with the team. Another sub-7 win season will put Lynn on the hot seat.

I think he is now already on the hot seat.

They just added a year to his contract, he's not on the hot seat now. However, if next year is another sub .500 year that seat will be red hot!

With the Chargers having moved on from quarterback Philip Rivers, coach Anthony Lynn told AM 570 LA Sports that Tyrod Taylor, last season's backup, could earn the job as the starter in 2020.

misinformation like this just damages his credibility.

He will be after letting Rivers go and wanting to go with Tyrod that results in another losing season.

Most likely just so he isn't a lame duck HC. They can eat 1 year like they did with Marty

I suspect this is the reason as well.

Very much agree with Lynn’s statement, more games are lost than won, especially considering the Chargers. Be nice to stop losing games. Baby steps.

Not sure I do. Sounds like a losers mentality. Hey guys, let’s go out and not lose this? Not lose one for the hopper. Not losing is the only thing?
