I wasn’t in the room but based on him saying he wanted to play in the new stadium, and him being a family man who would go through a lot to NOT uproot his kids tells me he was more in the stay camp. I’m sure as soon as the stupid FO gave him the message they were thinking of moving on all the stuff you mentioned made it easy for him to agree and move on.

This is part of Lynn's big plan. Get an RPO based...mobile quarterback. They did trade for Cardale, and they signed Tyrod, and Drafted Stick.
-That is the QB's they have brought in. (they also brought in Geno last year... also mobile)

So, I'm guessing FA is where we will know if we are drafting a QB. If they sign someone, they don't plan on drafting one, as we already have Tyrod and Stick.

I said this in another thread a few weeks back, but I think Phil knew this was the end of the road, which explains why he was playing hero ball in some of those games. He was going down, taking big chances.

Oh yes there is one, and the League is behind it, Chargtriots are coming to town! I see at least an AFC Championship game in our future, it might be a super bowl!

Rivers is finished. Only 6 games last year with a QB rate of 100 +
The Chargers are 4-2 in those games.
2 games with a QB rate of 50 !!!!!!!
Not very difficult to beat.

Watching the games last season, Rivers played like he already had a foot out the door. If he could’ve played differently, maybe the team would’ve decided to bring him back. Not gonna hate any FO for moving on from a guy who threw that many game/losing red zone INTs.
