    2 games with a QB rate of 50 !!!!!!!
    Not very difficult to beat.
Excuse me, it was 2015 stats
    In 2019, Rivers had 7 games with 100 +
    The Chargers are 4-3
Rivers had 3 games below 60 and the team is, without surprise, 0-3.

Cardale is technically a "Pocket Passer" but he can move. At least more than Phil can!

Similar to (not in the same category talent-wise) Burrow. He's a pocket passer who is mobile.

Cardale ran Urban Meyer's offense pretty well, and they were pretty much all mobile QB's who ran that.
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

The distinction is if you would employ an RPO offense around Jones.
Maybe on occasion but idk if it would be worth practicing, you have to be a real threat to get chuck yards on the ground or defenses won’t respect it

Morehead ran an RPO scheme at Penn State with Mcsorley and Barkley.

The "R" in RPO, doesn't have to be from the QB. At least to my knowledge.

But I don't know... some of you guys are way ahead of me on football stuff. I'm just a HS hoops coach!

We will draft two mobile RBs to play QB. Lynn & TT call it “the next big thing” haha

I’m not goin g to beat a dead horse. If you think Rivers was the problem on that team you are being Intentionally obtuse.

And Lynn personally takes over duties as qb coach

Yup and rivers really sucked at blocking the free blitzer and then throwing touchdowns. He’s really regressed in his free blitzer recognition and blocking. We should draft an oline man and let them be our QB it’s the only way our QB has a chance of impressing anyone.

Phil clearly felt unwanted.... in his exit presser he made it clear that he would play for any team that wants him.

he also recently stated that he def wouldn't be playing for more than two years, and that if he stinks it up next year, then that'll prolly be it for him, albeit alternatively if they do well, then he prolly plays one more after next.

which is more than likely the scenario if he had been entrenched as a Charger.... personally suspect we were ripe for a SB run next season, which if it went as such, perhaps Phil woulda played the next two seasons before bowing out.

obviously AL had no intention of moving forward w/Phil whatsoever, and obviously team TommyJohn have bought into things.... a year too soon (me thinx)

                        Ok.
Can't help it. I have to bring up my QB take from a few seasons ago......

Chargers drafted the wrong Clemson player. They should have drafted Watson-QB. Not Williams-WR
Rivers contract is going to expire soon. He is 36 and is not going to improve. He will only begin to decline. Better to move on 1 year early and be ready than 1 year late and not ready.

I was roasted by nearly every fan on the forum boards.

My take this year has been go get Burrow-QB
Pay whatever the price is to get the #1 pick.
I am getting roasted by most for that take.
They think 4 or 5 picks lost is too much.
But its a 53 man roster. 7 rounds. Udfa and free agency. Chargers can go get #1 and be fine whatever the deal is.

                        TPB,
                        Trust Crittydamus.
                        Go get Burrow.
Who has it better than us?
