I saw all of them. Miller never thrilled me. Alworth was unbelievable. He's #1. If Keenan stays a Bolt he'll be #2 - Joiner then Garrison then Wes - VJ next but a distant next, that's my opinion. I always thought JJ would be an all time great if he had stayed in Air Coryell.

I am going to say something that might get me in trouble but I think that Bambi was the greatest receiver of all time. I know Rice was amazing and all and he played about twice as long as Alworth but he also played in an era that year after year they were tightening the grip on what DB’s could do. Alworth played in an era where DB’s could basically do whatever they wanted and he still put up video game numbers.

Those who have not heard of Gary Garrison...check the stats.

One out of every six receptions was a TD.

Yeah, he was damn good. Damn good. But when you play on the other side of Lance Alworth, history forgets you.

That video brought back some great memories. I'd kind of forgotten Dickie Post, nice to see him again. At the very end you see George Pernacano go over to say something to Namath. (I ate dinner with him once (in San Francisco). He was a great guy - down to earth and very witty.

Yes I did see that, after Namath and Hadl had a moment together. He called Hadl the best QB in the AFL, not himself. Namath was pure class, even when he "guaranteed" a Jets victory inSuper Bowl III.

Telesco would never trade Keenan Allen. He would however let him walk and then sign several B and C plus free agents so he makes sure we don't get any compensatory picks after.

I remember Joe saying that too - but we know it wasn't true. John was a guy that could go from hot cold in a moment.

Do you happen to recall the first game at the Murph when they played an NFL team? (Detroit) - It was only preseason but John served up a couple of pick six in the first two possessions. It was such a bummer because we all were anxious to see how the Chargers matched up with an NFL team.
