Oliver is really good. It had crossed my mind about what would happen when Mathews returns. I hope they share carries to keep each player fresh, but I really like Oliver as a receiving back because he can turn a dump off into a big gain.

I really hope Mathews comes back strong but so far it's been a month(?) and he's not even jogging yet. Just so glad we have Telesco signing people like Oliver.

Yep. He's better in real games than he was in the preseason even though it is against better competition.

Exactly. Like our quality and depth at RB. We obviously needed that depth. And no matter what happens with Mathews in the off-season we will still have Woodhead, Oliver and Brown next year.

That's exactly it. Dude knows how to play RB, all parts of it. He'll still have some rough patches but he already is more skilled at his position than Mathews. That's the big difference.
