Donald Brown should be worried. old Ronnie and a udfa have looked more impressive in his place.

Best RB we've had since LT. Already better than Mathews. Hope he holds up, he takes more hits than I'd like.

Oliver is really good. It had crossed my mind about what would happen when Mathews returns. I hope they share carries to keep each player fresh, but I really like Oliver as a receiving back because he can turn a dump off into a big gain.Originally posted by blahblahblah View PostBest RB we've had since LT. I really hope Mathews comes back strong but so far it's been a month(?) and he's not even jogging yet. Just so glad we have Telesco signing people like Oliver. For Stinky-Jon-Wizzleteats....

Yep. He's better in real games than he was in the preseason even though it is against better competition.Originally posted by Beerman View PostReally like his acceleration so far and his ability to keep his legs moving forward.
Also like how he constantly seems to have the ball covered up. He was taught well at Buffalo.

When was the last time you saw a running back run with such determination/ferocity? He runs like someone just hit his Mom and he wants some payback! For Stinky-Jon-Wizzleteats....

Exactly. Like our quality and depth at RB. We obviously needed that depth. And no matter what happens with Mathews in the off-season we will still have Woodhead, Oliver and Brown next year.Originally posted by 6025 View PostHaving Mathews back can only help. Doesn't matter who we think is better at this point. Glad we have them both and DBrown too.1) Jason Verrett (CB) TCU
2) Demarcus Lawrence (OLB) Boise St
3) Will Sutton (DT) Arizona St
4) Jarvis Landry (WR) LSU

7) Brock Coyle (ILB) Montana

That's exactly it. Dude knows how to play RB, all parts of it. He'll still have some rough patches but he already is more skilled at his position than Mathews. That's the big difference.Originally posted by Beerman View PostReally like his acceleration so far and his ability to keep his legs moving forward.
