I get the 49ers are in a better spot so maybe Trent had different contract figures for the niners than other teams
But they could afford both the draft picks and the salary
I would be on the phone with Jason Peters - kicking the tires - on April 27 when the comp pick window closes and be ready with some $$ cash, dollar bills y'all

Trent for a 5 and a future 3 was a steal.

I would believe a 4th and a 3rd is slightly less than 2nd (but very very close to the same value in terms of pick value)

No if's and or buts about it. Not only that but i'll go even further in saying we need to do whatever it takes, well as long as it's reasonable to get Penei Sewell from Oregon who imo if it wasn't Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields being the top two picks next year Penei Sewell would be the number one choice. Im usually against making trades where we have to give up more then we want but in this case I think it warrants it. You're going to be hearing a lot about the Sewell family in the NFL when all is said and done. If you're a duck fan then you'll know about his little brother Noah who will be a top ten pick when he's done playing.
