Pipkins last year vs this upcoming year is like a tale of two cities. Thing aren't as bleak in the house as some think.

Reading through a list of free agent OT - the following names were listed

Jason Peters
Kelvin Beachum
Demar Dotson
Cordy Glenn

So if Trent Williams is not an option (Vikings seem to be in the hunt and they have draft capital) - Peters is the obvious choice followed by Beachum. I might even bring back Schofield over some of the other names on there.

Pretty good depth out there

Carlos Hyde RB
Markus Golden - Edge Rusher

Of course Cam, Clowney and Winston are there too

I think the team is completely confident in going into the season with the six tackles they have on the roster. That does not mean we won't add one in the later rounds for depth, but I think they look at Pipkins as the LT starter with another year of seasoning, conditioning and coaching. LT Pipkins, RT Bulaga. Camp fight for depth: Tevi, Scott (both with starting exp), St Louis and Stormie! I would imagine at least one more body there with a draft pick and/or a post draft vet signing to add depth and lower the rep count.

How much of their contract are they willing to eat? A 2nd for Trent is horrible unless they are going to eat all of it even though he is simply the best OT we can get (now). He is also far and away a better player than any OT in this draft.

I wouldn't make that deal. The Skins will end up releasing him soon.
