Joe Reed is a kick returner only. I can't see him playing on offense, but he should be able to help on special teams. The Chargers could have drafted him a round later though.

I don’t think we were too early in 5th. He’s a 4-5th receiver who will stay in league because he can return kicks. Most other 5-7th round receivers will be teaching PE or selling used cars while he’s still on a roster

Basically you need a guy that is sure hands to return it from between the goal line and 5 yd line, and the brains not to take it out of the endzone, hah.
