I’m hopeful that he can build on this game for the rest of the season. But I also know that the Chiefs has no idea he was starting and that teams will get more film on him. My concern is that he’ll start pressing like Rivers did and we’ll have more turnovers.

Growing pains...the only way forward is experience and team cooperation. Gotta take some bumps and bruises to learn to win.

Right defensive end of the Chargers played dis-interested, whoever he was. Right linebacker...right defensive end, whatever. Not much success there at times.
The Chargers lost in classic style. I bet Herbert wishes he had run it into the endzone from 10 yards out rather than toss an INT 10 feet in front of him. Game changer.

        Stats say...Tyrod who?

The only way I am letting Tyrod play is if Herbert is dead. Your post to which I responded suggested the possibility of going back to Tyrod. No way, no chance, never.

He played very controlled during the game. The only issues he had were rookie mistakes. More experience will minimize those kinds of mistakes.

Not a single one of us guessed Herbert would start this game today.I think he played well enough to start again next week. If Lynn starts Tyrod next week the lynch mob will be coming for him.

That's right...with Tyrod we would have scored three field goals and have lost 27-9.
