Can't go along with that - if TY can't do it we have two young QB's.
But, I'm not throwing in the towel on him after one bad game.

If Tyrod give the same performance against KC, I would try Eason Week 3.

There is no way they put Stick in before Herbert. Not even a tiny chance.

You are likely right but Stick does have the benefit of last years ots, tc and year of practicing. Plus, they may think Herbert needs more time. I can see the possibility that they'd give Stick a shot. Playing Herbert, if he's not ready, would give him a chance to learn but it would essentially be throwing in the towel on this year.

Let's all hope that Tyrod will have a great game this week and many more after that so we won't ever need to see who steps in for him.

If Taylor would get hurt during the KC game and lets say our OL was getting dominated by the aggessive KC pass rush, then I could see Lynn putting stick in to not risk getting Herbert killed in a game that was out of hand and herbert had not been coached to be ready to start yet....... when Herbert does start, the game plan will be much different than it is with taylor who is more of a threat to run than throw...... When Herbert plays, every type of pass and route will be an option for the Offense......... as well as the running game......

Herbert does not have to be perfect, he just has to be ready enough to not be a bumbling stumbling failure who loses yardage and the football....... if he had had pre season to get ready, he would probably be ready enough to startt and out perform Taylor.......

As long as they don't stick(!) with a Tyrod who underperform.

Amazing that dallas picked up Dalton off the free agent scrap heap for 6.5 million dollars.

And we're stuck with Tyrod ?

Dalton would be a huge upgrade.

Yup....if Tyrod plays like he did in the first game and it's a no contest game....meaning we're playing but not challenging at all....the red rocket would be a huge upgrade over tyrod. Dalton would give us 90% of Rivers without the turnovers. Everyone's happy!

Daniel Jeremiah suggested at the end of last season that we'd be smart to pick him up even if drafting a QB with our one because he is a way better QB than Taylor will ever be.

I don't see it happening, because they won't take Taylor out. But if Taylor gets injured in the next few games, i can see them putting in stick first.
